Aware of these challenges, he founded Traveling for Colombia, an environmental tourism agency dedicated to promoting sustainable development and ecosystem conservation through ecotourism. His work focuses on creating and implementing responsible tourism initiatives that combine conservation goals with local economic opportunities, generating income while protecting biodiversity. At TECC, Ricardo integrates his technical and entrepreneurial expertise to connect ecosystem conservation, particularly in páramos, with community-based tourism projects.
